About Carolina Aguirre
Carolina Aguirre was born in La Paz, Bolivia (1976). She was educated at the Bolivian Catholic University, La Paz (licentiate in law, 2001), the Escuela de Alta Dirección y Administración (EADA), Barcelona (master’s in corporate and fiscal legal counselling, 2004), the Private Bolivian University, La Paz (diploma in fiscal management, 2005), the La Paz Bar Association (diploma in arbitration granted by the University La Salle, 2010), the Universidad Privada de Santa Cruz de la Sierra (UPSA), Santa Cruz (diploma in labour law, 2016) and she obtained a Diploma on International Commercial Arbitration (2022). She is member of the Bolivian Bar Association, the La Paz Bar Association and the International Bar Association (to which she is member of the young council of the LARF, country representative of the Young Lawyers Committee) and she is also member of the steering committee of WIP (Women in the Profession) for Bolivia and member of the Board of Directors of Fundación Pro Bono Bolivia.
Carolina is partner at the firm and her practice areas are labour law, commercial law, corporate law, business law, administrative law, civil law, and arbitration.
She speaks Spanish and English.
