About Eduardo Quintanilla
Eduardo Quintanilla was born in La Paz, Bolivia (1963). Graduated from the University of Harvard (LLM, 1990), Université de Paris, Panthéon Sorbonne (DSU, 1989) and Universidad Mayor de San Andrés (JD, 1987), Eduardo specialises in corporate and business law, banking and finance, mining law and energy law, and has participated in some of the most relevant processes of foreign investment in Bolivia in such areas. Eduardo is co-managing partner at the firm.
Eduardo has participated in the drafting of several projects of law, among others the Central Bank Law, the Stock Markets Law, and on mining, regulatory and commercial regulations. He is a law school professor, and is frequently invited for international conferences related to foreign investment.
Eduardo is an active member of academic, cultural and human rights organisations and is the present chairman of the Harvard Club of Bolivia and several non-profit entities.
Eduardo is the co-managing partner at the firm and his practice areas are Corporate – M&A; Banking and Finance; Mining; Energy and Non-Profit Entities.
He speaks Spanish, English, French and Italian.
