Catherine Nommick

Catherine Nommick is a partner at Bremens Avocats, where she advises French and international corporate groups, as well as industrial and commercial companies, on corporate matters — including M&A, external growth transactions, corporate reorganizations and day-to-day compliance with French company law.

Catherine began her career as an in-house lawyer at Crédit Commercial de France – HSBC, where she supported the bank on international, structured and real estate financings.

Building on this banking background, she has developed a strong practice in the financing of renewable energy projects, acting for both lending banks and project sponsors. She advises on the structuring, negotiation and documentation of project financings — with a particular focus on biogas, biomethane, solar and other renewable energy assets — and on the related security packages, project agreements and regulatory frameworks.

Catherine is a member of the Banking & Finance department of Bremens Avocats Notaires, a dedicated team of lawyers and notaries handling a wide range of national and cross-border real estate and finance transactions, and advising a clientele of banks, financial institutions and investment funds based within and outside the European Union.

Catherine has been a member of several international organizations — including the National Committee of the ICC Commission on Banking Practice, the IBA and the World Law Group — as well as international business clubs. She currently serves on the board of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes chapter of the European American Chamber of Commerce (EAAC), which connects European and American companies for business development.
