Shin-Jong Kang

Shin-Jong is a managing partner of Donghyun Accounting Corporation and a leader of International Tax and Transfer Pricing Practice.

He has experiences in the international tax and transfer pricing for more than 30 years since 1989 and he is specialized in corporate taxes, VAT and international taxes including transfer pricing as well as the tax audit defense. Especially, he is a pioneer for development of transfer pricing practice in Korea since 1996.

He has achieved successful tax audit defenses by working with the US and UK tax authorities on international tax and transfer pricing issues through the mutual agreement procedure and has completed many of successful APAs for global MNCs.

He joined PwC Korea in 1989 as a CPA and was the partner until 2013. Also, he had worked at PwC US in international tax and transfer pricing group from 1994 to 1996 by attending the global exchange program with PwC US. Before he joined Donghyun Accounting Corporation in 2017, he had worked as the tax partner at Yoon & Yang, one of the largest law firms in Korea from 2013 to 2017 and developed the global networks with the global law firms such as CMS in France as well as the global tax and transfer pricing firms in Europe to work with them for global MNCs.

He is currently providing the tax advisory and transfer pricing services as well as the tax and accounting compliance services to major foreign MNCs based in Europe and the US. He graduated Korea University and attained a MBA degree from Graduate School of Seoul National University.
