Kostas Spaidiotis

Kostas Spaidiotis is a lawyer licensed to practice law before all courts of Greece, up to the Supreme Court and the Conseil d’ Etat. He was admitted to the Bar Association of Athens in 1991. He became a senior partner of “I.Issaias Law Office” in 1995, that being one of the very few firms of Greece specialising in shipping law at the time. After the merger of I.Issaias Law Office with Daniolos Law Office in 2002, he practised as partner in the newly formed firm “Daniolos Issaias & Partners” until 2006. In the year 2006, he joined “KPSY law office”, in which he is currently managing partner.

He is a member of the “Association of Maritime Law” and has taught shipping law to officers of merchant marine. He has given lectures and published articles and booklets with respect to insurance and maritime law. He is experienced in insurance, real estate, maritime and commercial law in general. He has extensive experience in litigation and has handled cases on behalf of banks, P&I clubs, underwriters, several ship-owning interests and other commercial entities.
