Nishant Menon, a seasoned arbitration specialist with 25 years of experience, is a partner leading the Firm’s Dispute Resolution Practice Group. He focuses on high-value disputes, particularly in construction, oil and gas, supply, and technology contracts. He’s adept at handling technically intricate cases with substantial evidence.

Nishant’s track record includes representing Indian public sector undertakings (PSUs) in international and domestic arbitrations involving claims exceeding INR 1000 crores. He’s has also represented renowned domestic and foreign clients, including Fortune Global 500 companies, in post M&A, joint venture, and shareholder disputes before leading arbitration centers, including Singapore and London.

In addition to his arbitration practice, Nishant proficiently manages multifaceted civil, commercial, and regulatory matters in various Indian courts, including the Supreme Court, State High Courts and various statutory Tribunals. Nishant extends his expertise to representing Govt. of India regulatory agencies and foreign airlines in litigation while advising defense aerospace companies, particularly in offset contracts and technology transfers.
He’s actively engaged in bankruptcy-related litigation in India. He has also acted as co-counsel for an Indian governmental regulatory body in a US bankruptcy court case.
