Miguel Ángel is an attorney specialized in transactional, banking, and financial law, with experience in financing sectors, securities placements, and related corporate law matters, including joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity.

He has advised several Mexican and foreign clients, including financial institutions and private and public equity funds, on banking and financial transactions, as well as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructurings, including cross-border securities, commercial bankruptcies, and structured financings.

He has been awarded the recognition as Rising Star of the Year by The Legal 500 in the high-level mergers and acquisitions practice.

He holds a law degree from the Universidad Panamericana (2009) and a specialization in Corporate Law (2010) from the same university.He earned a Master’s in Financial Law from the Institute for Law and Finance at the Goethe University Frankfurt (2013) and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration and Finance at the Tecnológico de Monterrey.
