Ashish Jagarnath

Ashish Jagarnath serves as Director at International Proximity, where he leads business development, innovation, and strategic initiatives. He holds a Maitrise des Sciences de Gestion from the University of Paris IX Dauphine and is a qualified Chartered Accountant, having trained and worked at Price Waterhouse in the UK. He then joined Price Waterhouse in Jersey.

Ashish subsequently joined Deutsche Bank in Jersey, where he was responsible for business development for a major division. In 1999, he relocated to Mauritius to set up the office of the Deutsche Bank. He also founded the insourcing operation of the bank in Mauritius, which became a benchmark for insourcing from many locations. He served as Deputy Head of Deutsche Bank Mauritius until 2005, when he joined International Proximity.

At International Proximity, Ashish drives growth and innovation while contributing to the company’s strategic vision. He is also an active participant in several national industry committees, shaping policy and advancing the business environment in Mauritius.
