Cristóbal Mariscal

Cristóbal Mariscal joined the Mexico office of Arochi & Lindner as Of Counsel since 2017. He has more than 40 years of experience in administration, corporate law, tax law, and intellectual property, particularly in terms of appellations of origin, three-dimensional designs and trademarks. Cristóbal is an expert in the planning and execution of commercial and legal strategies. His practice distinguishes itself by his wholesome vision of the business and by the deep comprehension of clients’ matters, forged thanks to his extensive experience as a corporate lawyer and consultant.

His trajectory includes over 15 years as Legal and Institutional Relations Director of José Cuervo, where he directed the legal and governmental and institutional relations areas, as well as being the company’s spokesperson. During this time, Cristóbal worked as a representative of the company before various business and public organizations.

His professional experience includes the Regional Vice Presidency and Administration and Legal Management of Unisource-Mexico as well as the General Management of the Mexican Automobile Association. Additionally, Cristóbal worked in the Eli Lilly and Cía laboratories where he oversaw the legal and governmental relations area. Cristóbal started his professional life in the Baker & McKenzie firm, previously Sepúlveda Firm, where he performed as advisor to important national and foreign companies for over 10 years.

Cristóbal holds a Law Degree from the Escuela Libre de Derecho and a Master of Laws from the University of Michigan.
