Virginia del Águila

Virginia del Águila is a lawyer with over 20 years of professional experience in Competition Law and Regulation. She graduated from Torcuato Di Tella University (2001) and earned her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Trade Law from the University of Westminster (2003-2004) and in Regulation and Governance from King’s College, University of London (2008).

Throughout her career, she has advised a diverse range of clients, including media outlets, oil companies, telecommunications companies, investment funds, consumer goods companies, agricultural associations, and pharmaceutical companies, among others.

She has handled numerous national and transnational merger proceedings and has also participated in market research, filed and defended complaints regarding anticompetitive practices, and promoted and participated in litigation related to her area of ​​expertise .

In academia, she was a professor at the University of Buenos Aires and has published several articles and research papers.
