Rasha Laswi

Rasha Laswi is a partner at Andersen in Jordan and leads the firm’s Corporate and Commercial department.

Rasha has extensive experience in the areas of intellectual property, banking, finance, company law, joint ventures and contract law. In particular, she has vast experience drafting and negotiating various legal contracts as well as advising clients on trust formation and wealth management. Rasha has acted as an in-house legal advisor to some of the most prominent Jordanian companies. She also recently participated in the IPO of the largest Jordanian pharmaceutical company on the London Stock Exchange.

Rasha has been consistently recognized as a leading lawyer in the IFLR1000 rankings. In 2015 and 2016, she was also the only featured female lawyer in the Legal 500 rankings under the Commercial, Corporate and M&A practice area, which recognized her as one of the top 10 lawyers in Jordan.

Rasha appeared as a speaker at various events, including the Women as Partners in Progress Conference on Innovative Strategies for Women’s Empowerment, the Islamic Finance News (IFN) Jordan Forum, a workshop in collaboration with Ahli Bank on the legal challenges facing Jordanian business owners, the Jordan Green Building Council’s Women in the Green Sector Panel, and the Developing Sound Insolvency Systems in the MENA Conference in Cairo, Egypt.

Rasha is also recognized as one of the Women Leaders of the Kahlil Gibran Chair for Values and Peace.
