Peter Ruggle

Peter Ruggle is the founding and managing partner of RUGGLE PARTNER, a Swiss corporate and commercial boutique with offices in Zurich and Lucerne. Admitted to the Zurich bar in 1998, he has practised for more than 25 years as attorney and partner in Zurich business law firms. His practice centres on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, with particular depth in owner-managed and family businesses, succession transactions, shareholder arrangements and transactions in regulated sectors (financial services, FinTech, healthcare/pharma).
He advises across the full deal cycle – from structuring, letter of intent and due diligence through negotiation of the share or asset purchase agreement, signing and closing, to post-closing integration and, where required, the resolution of warranty, purchase-price and shareholder disputes before state courts and arbitral tribunals. His background as a judge and qualified mediator informs a pragmatic, deal-oriented approach to negotiation and dispute avoidance.
