Ryna has over twenty-five years of experience as a corporate commercial lawyer. She advises both Indian and international clients on a variety of domestic and cross border transactions. Her real estate practice complements her experience in infrastructure projects.
Ryna has extensive experience and regularly advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, business transfer arrangements, joint ventures and similar arrangements. She also advises private equity and investment funds on a full range of corporate transactions, including cross border transactions. She has led several cross-border transactions in investments in varied industries, both for mergers and acquisitions, business transfer agreements. She regularly advises clients on regulatory issues, including foreign exchange laws and SEBI laws. She has also advised and assisted a number of foreign clients in establishing a presence in India through incorporation of companies, establishment of branch/liaison offices.
Ryna also heads the Banking and Finance practice (including external commercial borrowings and security creation) and regularly advices on insolvency laws under the Indian Bankruptcy Code, general corporate matters, commercial contracts, concession agreements and real estate.
Prior to joining ALMT Legal Ryna was a partner at another law firm in Mumbai.
