Biography

Leith Ben Ammar FCIArb is a Shareholder and Co-Chair of the London office Ability Network at Greenberg Traurig. His practice focuses on complex, high value and sensitive international dispute resolution.

Leith is a member of the ICC UK Arbitration and ADR Committee, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and sits as an arbitrator. As counsel, he represents clients from Europe, Africa, Asia, America, and the Middle East across the construction, digital and emerging technology, infrastructure, real estate, energy, mining, transport, consumer goods, manufacturing, entertainment, and financial services sectors.

He has particular expertise in disputes involving large-scale and technically complex infrastructure, energy, and real estate projects in emerging markets. He provides comprehensive services throughout all stages of a project’s lifecycle, from early claim management and mitigation to trial and enforcement.

Leith has in-depth knowledge of legal issues related to international arbitration, construction, and emerging technologies. He served as Co-Chair of ENERAP’s UK Chapter, has been a supporting expert at the University of Oxford’s Entrepreneurship Centre and is an alumnus of its Blockchain Strategy Programme. In addition, Leith piloted the first-of-its-kind international arbitration-tailored artificial intelligence assistant for Jus Mundi (Jus AI) and developed the first-of-its-kind administered arbitration scheme (Immunefi Arbitration) and rules (the LCAM Expedited Blockchain Arbitration Rules) tailored to blockchain and Web3 disputes.

Leith is a sought-after speaker and author on topics related to arbitration, construction and emerging technologies, with engagements at prestigious institutions such as the University of Cambridge, Jus Mundi, Global Arbitration Review, Chambers and Partners, LexisNexis, Practical Law, Lexology, the London International Disputes Week, the Dubai Arbitration Week and the London Chamber of Arbitration and Mediation.
