Mr. Jiranek provides general counsel and entity representation services through Jiranek, P.A. to select management teams and/or on a limited project basis. In addition to assisting management teams with their businesses as outside counsel, Mr. Jiranek has co-founded technology companies and served in-house alongside management in scaling those businesses. Mr. Jiranek has particular operational expertise for businesses operating in North America and with pursuing business development funding and strategic business relationships.
Mr. Jiranek has written numerous published articles and papers on business, finance and organizational topics and lectured extensively for public and private business development groups. Mr. Jiranek has previously worked in-house as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at a public high-technology company, an associate in the corporate and finance departments of several large and mid sized law firms in Washington, DC and Baltimore, Maryland, an Honors Program attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice and a judicial law clerk to U.S. District Court Chief Judge Truman Hobbs in Montgomery, Alabama.
Mr. Jiranek graduated from William and Mary Law School with a J.D. in 1987, where he was an Editor of the Law Review, and from Princeton University with an A.B. in Economics in 1984. Mr. Jiranek is a member of the Maryland, D.C. and Virginia Bar Associations.
Based on a survey of attorneys and judges, an independent research firm, Thomson Reuters, has named Mr. Jiranek to its list of Super Lawyers. Mr. Jiranek has also been given the highest rating for legal ethics and abilities for corporate attorneys by Martindale Hubbell, based on a survey of his peers. Mr. Jiranek was appointed to serve on an expert panel of attorneys for cross border finance by LexisNexis PSL and has been actively involved with international legal networks of attorneys and business owners. Mr. Jiranek is rated highly by several periodicals and online rating services.
