Dieter is heading the Banking and Finance team which is integrated in Astrea’s Corporate and Finance department. He is also member of Astrea’s German Desk focusing on German speaking companies operating in the BeNeLux and Belgian companies operating in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Astrea (established 2006) is a full-service Belgian law firm based in Antwerp and Brussels. The firm currently has approx. 45 lawyers.
Our long-standing experience as well as our team’s complementary legal skills in all aspects of business law, makes Astrea an important legal partner of major international companies that face Belgian law issues or Belgian companies that require legal assistance to support their international affairs. Astrea is the preferred go-to-firm for many law firms abroad and has a global network of correspondent firms on which it can call if its clients need support abroad.
While Astrea has strong local roots and provides legal support to many Belgian companies at a national, regional and local level, over half of our work involves an international aspect. We assist our clients in international transactions or disputes, starting up foreign companies or commercial activities or advising them on the applicable laws. This allows us to guarantee international legal support while retaining a personal approach.
Astrea is a Dutch, English, French and German speaking law firm, with two foreign desks specially established in order to better service German-speaking and French-speaking clients.
