DLA Piper is strengthening its Transfer Pricing offering in Spain with the appointment of César Salagaray as a partner in its Madrid office.
César joins the firm from KPMG, where he joined in 2015 to develop their Value Chain Management practice. During this time, his practice has focused on helping companies to develop an effective supply chain from the ground up, integrate tax and transfer pricing as a component of the overall business thought process, and enhance long-term efficiencies. César and his team also have specific expertise on valuation. Prior to this, César worked at PwC for over a decade both in Madrid and Mexico City. Over the course of his career, he has developed a particular expertise in the design of efficient transfer pricing policies and tax-operating models for multinationals.
César joins alongside three associates Carlos Espinosa, Natalia Pérez and Alejandro Rodrigues, also from KPMG.
DLA Piper’s International Head of Transfer Pricing, Randall Fox, said: “With these new hires we are growing our International Transfer Pricing team, an area which is increasingly important for our clients. César brings us deep and high quality transfer pricing and valuation expertise which we can leverage across our existing platform. His experience will also be highly valuable for other practice groups and I look forward to working with him.”
Global co-Chair of DLA Piper’s Tax practice, Roderik Bouwman, said: “We are delighted to announce these strategic hires and we welcome them to the firm. With their arrival we are able to complement and expand our market-leading integrated tax and transfer pricing offering, and their appointment reflects our continued commitment to having one of the strongest teams in the market.”
