Global law firm Goodwin announced today that partner Hannah Field-Lowes will join the firm’s Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in its London office.
“Hannah’s addition is a significant step as we look to the next stage of market presence for our litigation and dispute resolution capabilities since establishing our UK offering just under a year ago,” said Oliver Glynn-Jones, Head of Goodwin’s European Litigation practice. “She has extensive experience and a phenomenal track record of advising clients on complex high-stakes disputes. Her particular expertise in the private equity, technology and financial sectors aligns perfectly with our strategy to focus on key growth industries at the intersection of capital and innovation.”
Field-Lowes brings more than 15 years of experience in dispute resolution, encompassing complex commercial cross-border and domestic disputes. She has expertise across managing disputes arising from issues such as breach of contract, misrepresentation, shareholder disputes, intellectual property and regulatory investigations, with a particular focus in the private equity space where she has represented some of the market’s biggest sponsors. She was named a “Rising Star” by Legal Week and is recommended for her technology, media and telecoms expertise by Legal 500 UK, as well as for tax disputes.
Field-Lowes joins a number of newly appointed partners at Goodwin, which continues to deepen its European platform across offices and practice areas. Field-Lowe’s addition follows the recent hires in London of Dulcie Daly to the firm’s Tax practice and Geoff O’Dea to the Private Equity practice, as well as Dr. Joachim Kayser in Frankfurt and Harry Ghillemyn in Luxembourg earlier this year.
Goodwin extended its global award-winning Complex Litigation and Dispute Resolution platform into the UK in May 2020 with the addition of partner Oliver Glynn-Jones. The team specialises in assisting clients in a wide range of industries with trials, arbitrations, meditations and negotiations, and counsel on litigation avoidance and risk management. These matters primarily involve financial services, intellectual property, white collar defense, securities litigation, commercial and business litigation, appellate, products litigation and counseling, employment, ERISA litigation and antitrust.
