Jason Tian joined Landing Law Offices as a founding partner this March of 2018, head of the Cross-border Family Law Team in the firm. Landing Law Offices is the first Chinese-led global law firm headquartered in Shanghai with branch offices in major Chinese cities and more than a dozen developing countries such as India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, Philippines, Nepal, Malaysia, Laos and Los Angeles. Before joining Landing, Jason has worked as in-house counsel in multinational company and as translator and attorney at law in Clifford Chance, Zhonglun Law Firm, Zhongyin Law Firm and Dentons Shanghai office.
He was admitted as IAFL Fellow member in July 2022, the third FELLOW member in the mainland of China.
His main areas of legal practice cover cross-border family law services such as estate planning, inheritance, insurance, international divorces, guardianship & custody, and inbound and outbound investments, real estate, and arbitration and litigation. Most of the time, he represents foreign clients in dealing with inheritance and divorces involving real properties and corporate shares, and over the recent years, his team has been also focusing on advising Chinese HNWIs in creating offshore estate plan employing offshore instruments like insurances and trusts.
