Biography

Jesús Aldrin Rojas Maldonado is Global Managing Partner of QCG Transfer Pricing and one of Mexico’s most experienced specialists in transfer pricing and international taxation. He has advised multinational groups on complex transfer pricing matters since 1999 and has actively participated in the evolution of Mexico’s transfer pricing regime, from the early implementation of the arm’s length principle through the adoption of BEPS-aligned reforms and current simplification initiatives.

He has been recognized by International Tax Review as one of Latin America’s leading transfer pricing practitioners. He was also Mexico’s first court-certified transfer pricing expert and has served as an expert witness for Mexico before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) in investment arbitration proceedings involving tax and transfer pricing issues.

He holds degrees in Accounting and Law from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), an MBA from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), and a Master of Science in Global Management from Tulane University.

He is a founding member of the Ibero-American Association of Transfer Pricing Specialists, currently chairs the Tax Committee of the Mexican-German Chamber of Commerce, and has served on the technical advisory team of the Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT).

Professor of Transfer Pricing in the Master’s program of Business Taxation at Universidad Panamerica, in Mexico City, where he authored the course syllabus and directed the International Taxation and Transfer Pricing Lecture Series, inviting speakers from international organizations including the OECD, the United Nations, and CIAT.

He has authored more than 30 publications in professional journals such as International Tax Review, MNE Tax, and IDC Asesor Fiscal, covering topics including transfer pricing for intangibles, services, financial transactions, and BEPS developments.
