Junaira Rahman has over a decade’s experience in private equity and venture capital transactions, M&A, employment laws and general corporate and commercial matters.
Junaira extensively advises clients on a broad spectrum of employment law matters, which include structuring employee stock options and benefit plans, statutory compliances, employee terminations, formulation of HR policies and facilitating inquiries relating to workplace harassment. Junaira regularly conducts anti-sexual harassment workshops for corporate clients and also serves as the external expert on the anti-sexual harassment committee of corporate clients.
Prior to joining Samvad Partners in 2011, Junaira was associated with Mulla & Mulla & Craigie Blunt & Caroe, New Delhi, where she represented corporate houses in a variety of commercial litigations in the regulatory and services sector.
Junaira has completed her BBA, LL.B. from Symbiosis International University, Pune (2009, Distinction Holder) and holds a diploma in International Business Laws and Corporate Laws from Symbiosis International University, Pune. She is admitted to practice law in India.
Apart from law, Junaira is a yoga enthusiast and loves to paint. In her free time, Junaira explores indigenous textile art and is passionate about hand and wood block printing.
