Biography

Lawyer since 2010 and working for many years in civil (international) legal practice in combination with criminal law.

In addition to Dutch private law with international electives, she also studied at the University of Essex in England. In addition to her studies, she worked at various law firms with a focus on international trade and transport law in combination with criminal law. She has also gained extensive work experience in real estate within a notary office.

Linda Stolk-Hogeterp has been working as a lawyer at a medium-sized international law firm since 2010. She handles diverse and often complicated cases, both in civil law and in criminal law. She has also worked as an auditor for the business community. In this role she was involved in risk management by analyzing relevant (international) laws and regulations for the business and testing them against current business operations.

In 2017 she founded her own law firm.

After years of working in criminal law, Mr. Stolk-Hogeterp also successfully completed the criminal law specialization at the VU and is now a member of the NVSA. In April 2022, Mr. Stolk-Hogeterp successfully completed the financial economic criminal law specialization at the VU. She has written her paper on the field of tension for banks; the desired policy of de-risking while banks are obliged to continue their banking services to high-risk sectors with operational legal and reputational risks. Mr. Stolk-Hogeterp can assist you as a specialist in general criminal law, financial criminal law and fraud as well as economic criminal law.
