Biography

Maurice studied Dutch law at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. When finishing his study in 2019, he already had 10 years of experience in different advising roles, which were mostly company/economically orientated. Next to a legal background, Maurice also has a background in economics. The combination of the two results in Maurice being an expert in working with financial complicated problems in legal procedures. Maurice has joined the team of Bos Van der Burg in 2020. Maurice has a broad legal base, with a great knowledge of Dutch civil law but mostly focussed on corporate law. Maurice helps both companies and individuals in a broad spectrum of legal cases, from advising to proceedings.

His practice is mostly focussed on corporate law, contract law, labour law and debt collection. Maurice likes to have an open and fair communication with his clients, so his clients always know what exactly to expect. Honesty and transparency from both sides are essential to him in order to build a foundation of trust between lawyer and client. This way, Maurice is quickly able to get to the core of a problem and he will find a wat to get his client what they deserve.
