Mills & Reeve has boosted its partner numbers again in 2020 with four new promotions at the beginning of June.

Dona Ardeman, already a well-known figure in the sector, specialises in structuring and creating innovative investment funds for fund managers, universities, charities and government departments. Dona is passionate about emerging finance solutions and has created some landmark fund structures for investment firms such as IQ Capital Partners.

Richard Barker is an employment specialist who advises a wide range of private sector clients across a number of our sectors.  Known for his pragmatic, commercial advice on the full spectrum of employment/HR matters, Richard is an experienced litigator who regularly appears in the Employment Tribunal.  He is also a key member of our sports law practice.

Jens Henniker Heaton is a projects lawyer advising public and private sector clients on all aspects of projects and outsourcing agreements in a wide range of sectors including student accommodation, defence and health. Jens is deputy head of our Australia desk.

Alex Russell is an immigration and employment lawyer.  Alex leads our national immigration team advising on all aspects relating to the recruitment of international staff.  Alex also specialises in advising education institutions on the full spectrum of employment matters and will be focussed on further developing our London higher education practice.
