Steven Kachunsi Simwanza is a Partner and Co- Founder of the firm styled Steven Osborne Advocates. Steven previously worked in the Attorney General’s Chambers in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Zambia, where he gained invaluable experience in public law. He also once served as a member of the Mining Advisory Committee in the Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development.
Steven is a graduate of the University of Zambia where he obtained a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) in 2003 and has 20 years’ experience as a practitioner on the Zambian Bar.
In 2011, Steven ventured into private practice where he has established himself as one of the country’s leading lawyers in civil and commercial law litigation. Other than been an astute litigator, Steven has in depth knowledge of Alternative Dispute Resolution methods such as Arbitration and Mediation.
He also advises clients in various corporate commercial transactions and his scope of work involves advising clients on Joint Ventures and Mergers and Acquisitions in the mining sector Debt Collection, Employment law, Real Estate, Conveyancing and perfection of securities.
