Today, I had the privilege of participating in the G100: Mission Million meeting in Amsterdam.
There, a group of around 40 women gathered from various countries and backgrounds, IT, Tech, legal, business, academia, entrepreneurship – it was a powerhouse of, moreover, all charming and cheerful ladies (and a few gentlemen) who all want to do their bit to leave the world just a little better for the next generation by actively and jointly making a difference in their areas of expertise .
The energy in the room was inspirational. the stories even more so!
From Afghanistan, Chile, Greece, Colombia, Belgium, the Netherlands and various other countries, the ladies shared their motives, their ambitions and what they had already achieved – serial entrepreneurs, NGOs, politicians, scientists – the real crème de la crème – and what a conviviality!
Under the inspiring leadership of Dr. Harbeen Arora Rai, we all got to know each other and immediately made follow-up appointments to actually put into action the ambitions in the 100 sub-areas that the G100 stands for.
