The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (“HKTDC”) organised the Asian Licensing Conference (“ALC”) 2022 during 27-29 July 2022. The conference focuses on the growing Asian market and brings together top-notch global licensing executives and Asian entrepreneurs with the aim of shaping an Asian agenda for the worldwide licensing industry. Our Partner, James Choi was invited to share at the Licensing Academy session – “Basics of licensing law” on 27 July 2022. The Licensing Academy is co-organized by HKTDC and Licensing International, in collaboration with the Intellectual Property Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. It involves a series of online workshops dedicated for industry beginners. During the online session, James shared the core legal principles and practices to be a licensing professional.
