He is skilled in registering trademarks; as well as challenging the rejection of the trademark before the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Board of Grievances. He also defends the trademark challenged by others, follows up on the validity of trademarks and products of clients within the Saudi market by ensuring that no counterfeit products exist. Upon a circumstance of finding a counterfeit product, he presents it before the Commercial Fraud Department of the Ministry of Commerce in order to protect the consumer from any risks involved.

Prior to establishing his own law firm, Firas worked as a legal advisor in one of the largest Islamic banks in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Moreover, he has gained experience by working as a legal advisor in the field of energy law at Chevron Corporation in the United States, Scotland, United Kingdom and Kuwait. Both experiences have greatly enriched his legal knowledge on a local and international level.
