François de Senneville is known for his expertise in international tax law and African business law (particularly OHADA). An international tax specialist with more than 25 year’s experience, he specialises in assisting international organisations in establishing, developing and reorganising business activities as well as advising on acquisition structures and tax audits. He frequently advises clients on structuring foreign investments in Africa.
He is partner in Paris and the CoHead of the Africa Group.An expert in structuring the implementation and development of companies on the African continent, he provides legal and fiscal assistance to secure and manage the inherent complexity of development projects in Africa.
In addition he has extensive experience in corporate restructuring (including business model reorganisation) in and via Mauritius. This technical know-how is enhanced by my Franco-Mauritian nationality – a major asset for operations in Africa. François is ranked as one of the top tax lawyers in Africa (\”Highly Recommended\”) in the 2020 ranking of the Decideurs – Leaders League Magazine. Furthermore, François is ranked by JEUNE Afrique Magazine as one of the 100 business lawyers who have marked 2020 in Africa. He is an executive member of the Africa / OHADA permanent Commission of the Paris Bar.
Before joining Fieldfisher Paris, François was Head of the Africa Desk at Lazareff Le Bars. he previously headed the tax department of the Deloitte France African Cluster, assisting clients with their operations in the Maghreb, West Africa, Central Africa, Southern Africa and Mauritius.
François holds a DESS in business and tax law from the University Paris II – Assas and was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1995. He is fluent in both English and French.
